Benjamin Netanyahu Prime Minister of Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is the ninth and current Prime Minister of the State of Israel, serving since 2009 and previously serving from 1996-1999. He has also been the Chairman of the Likud Party since 1993. An articulate speaker, forceful debater, and highly effective diplomat, Prime Minister Netanyahu has also previously served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and as Minister of Finance, as a business consultant to Israeli high-tech companies, and as Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations.
After serving six years in the IDF’s most elite Special Forces unit, Sayeret Matkal, and rising to the rank of captain, Netanyahu studied at MIT in Boston and received a B.Sc. in architecture and an M.Sc. in Management Studies. Secretary Mike Pompeo Secretary of State
Michael R. Pompeo was sworn in as Secretary of State on April 26, 2018. That month, CUFI had launched a campaign in support of Pompeo’s nomination, and our members sent over 60,000 emails to Senate offices expressing their support. Pompeo previously served as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency from January 2017 to April 2018. Prior to joining the Trump Administration, he was serving in his fourth term as congressman from Kansas’ 4th District where he was the lead sponsor of H.R. 4815 (114th): Iran Ballistic Missile Sanctions Act of 2016. Pompeo graduated first in his class at the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1986 and served as a cavalry officer patrolling the Iron Curtain before the fall of the Berlin Wall. He also served with the 2nd Squadron, 7th Cavalry in the US Army’s Fourth Infantry Division. Throughout this time, Pompeo has been a consistent supporter of Israel’s right to self-determination and security.
Nikki Haley Diplomat, businesswoman, author, and Politician
Nikki Haley served as the US Ambassador to the United Nations for the first two years of the Trump administration, and previously served as Governor of South Carolina. During her post at the UN, she was known for her unwavering commitment to protecting America’s interests in the world, and her impassioned defense of Israel. As Governor, Haley signed the country’s first anti-BDS legislation into law. CUFI was privileged to welcome Ambassador Haley to speak at the 2018 Washington Summit, and we are thrilled to hear from her again this year at our Virtual Summit.
Ambassador David Friedman US Ambassador to Israel
Ambassador David Friedman was nominated by President Trump on January 20, 2017 and sworn in as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the State of Israel on March 29, 2017. He was the first bilateral ambassador to be confirmed in the Trump Administration. Prior to his appointment as Ambassador, Mr. Friedman was a nationally top-ranked attorney, and a founding partner of Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman of New York, New York. He frequently represented high-profile clients in large and significant cases, and has published articles and lectured on novel and complex areas of law. Ambassador Friedman has played a lead role in negotiating multilateral disputes in some of the nation’s most complex business and financial restructurings. Well known for his excellent public speaking, negotiating and interpersonal skills, he has been active for decades in U.S. policy as it relates to Israel and the Middle East. He speaks and reads Hebrew and has traveled to Israel extensively.
Ambassador Ron Dermer Israel's Ambassador to the United States
Ron Dermer, an American-born Israeli political consultant and diplomat, has served as the Israeli Ambassador to the United States since October 2013. During his tenure in Washington, Ambassador Dermer has worked closely with CUFI leadership to strengthen support for Israel among American Christians. He opposed the misguided Iran Nuclear Deal, which has made Israel and America less safe, and encouraged President Trump to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem. He has appeared five times at the CUFI Washington Summit on behalf of the State of Israel.
President Reuven Rivlin President of the State of Israel
Reuven Rivlin is the President of the State of Israel. During his tenure, Rivlin has emphasized outreach to Israel’s Christian allies around the globe. Rivlin previously served as the Speaker of the Israel’s Parliament (the Knesset) and as the Minister of Communications. One of the country’s most respected elder statesmen, Rivlin was born in Jerusalem before the founding of modern Israel, and served as an intelligence officer with the Jerusalem brigade and the IDF’s famed paratrooper brigade during the Six Day War. He is an attorney by trade.
Benjamin Gantz Israel’s Alternate Prime Minister and Minister of Defense
Benjamin Gantz serves as Israel’s Alternate Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. Prior to entering electoral politics, Gantz rose to the very top of the ranks of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), serving as the army’s Chief of Staff. His military career started in Israel’s elite Paratroopers Brigade where he participated in the First Lebanon War, counter-terror operations, and commanded the unit responsible for Operation Solomon, which airlifted 14,000 Ethiopian Jews home to Israel. Prior to becoming the IDF Chief of Staff, he held several senior positions and completed special forces training with the US Army, served as Israel’s military attaché in Washington, and commanded the Israeli Air Force’s Shaldag (Kingfisher) Unit, a commando force which specializes in reconnaissance and ground control of aircraft while in hostile territory.
Gilad Erdan Israel’s parliament (the Knesset) and currently serves as Israel’s Regional Cooperation Minister
Gilad Erdan is a member of Israel’s parliament (the Knesset) and currently serves as Israel’s Regional Cooperation Minister. Previously Erdan has held several ministerial positions including Minister of Strategic Affairs. Erdan, however, will soon be leaving the Knesset as he has been appointed to hold the positions of Israel’s Ambassador to the United States as well as Ambassador to the United Nations. During his military service, Erdan attained the rank of Captain. He is an attorney by trade.
Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) US Senator South Carolina
Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) has served South Carolina in the U.S. Senate since 2013. Prior to public service, Scott built a successful small business. He was first elected to Charleston County Council, then to the South Carolina State House, and then to the U.S. House of Representatives. He was the lead sponsor of the Anti-Semitism Awareness Act of 2019 (S.852) which was the basis for President Trump’s Executive Order on combating Anti-Semitism last December. Senator Scott is a stalwart supporter of the US-Israel relationship and was also a cosponsor of the recently enacted Never Again Education Act.

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) - serves on the Senate Foreign Relations, Judiciary, Commerce, and Rules Committees. He is a strong champion of the US-Israel relationship, having sponsored multiple bills to ensure Israel has the right to defend itself. He has led multiple CUFI legislative agenda items, including a bill to impose sanctions on foreign persons who use innocent civilians as human shields as well as efforts to hold the Lebanese Armed Forces accountable for cooperation with terrorist army Hezbollah. Sen. Cruz was also the lead sponsor of a bill codifying US policy recognizing Israel's sovereignty over the Golan Heights.
Senator Marco Rubio US Senator Florida
Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) - is the Chairman of the Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee and serves on the Senate Foreign Relations and Intelligence Committees. Sen. Rubio is a stalwart supporter of Israel, having sponsored multiple bills to strengthen the US-Israel relationship and protect Israel against those who seek to destroy her. Sen. Rubio has taken a leadership role in fighting the BDS movement. He is the lead sponsor of the US-Israel Security Assistance Authorization Act of 2020 (S. 3176) and was one of the original cosponsors of the recently passed Never Again Education Act.
Jacky Rosen Junior senator from Nevada
Jacky Rosen is the junior senator from Nevada. Since coming to the Senate, she has been a vocal leader in efforts to support for Israel and the Jewish people. Along with Sen. James Lankford of Oklahoma, Rosen is the co-founder and co-chair of the Senate Bipartisan Task Force for Combatting Anti-Semitism. She was the lead sponsor of the recently passed Never Again Education Act, the lead sponsor of legislation promoting US-Israel cyber cooperation, and was a co-sponsor of the Anti-Semitism Awareness Act.
James Lankford Junior senator from Oklahoma
James Lankford is the junior senator from Oklahoma. Along with Sen. Jacky Rosen of Nevada, Lankford is the co-founder and co-chair of the Senate Bipartisan Task Force for Combatting Anti-Semitism. In addition to his work combating anti-Semitism, Lankford is a stalwart defender of Israel and has a keen understanding of Middle East issues. He was a leader in the fight to see Pastor Brunson released after the radical Islamist regime in Turkey arrested the pastor on trumped up charges. Likewise, Lankford has been a leader on multiple pieces of legislation holding Turkey responsible for its malevolent actions. He has also been a supporter of numerous pieces of legislation that work to strengthen the US-Israel relationship including the United States-Israel Security Assistance Authorization Act of 2020.
Marsha Blackburn Junior Senator from Tennessee
Marsha Blackburn is the junior senator from Tennessee who sits on several key Senate committees including the Senate Armed Services and Judiciary committees. Though only recently elected to the Senate, she previously served the people of Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District in the House of Representatives since 2002. Throughout her career in Washington, Blackburn has been a strong supporter of the US-Israel relationship. She was an early cosponsor of the recently passed Never Again Education Act, and has used her position to raise issues with the Administration aimed at countering anti-Israel business practices and Iranian censorship of the Iranian people.
Tom Cotton United States Senator from Arkansas
Tom Cotton is a United States Senator from Arkansas. Sen. Cotton’s committees include the Banking Committee, the Intelligence Committee, and the Armed Services Committee, where he chairs the Air Land Power Subcommittee. He graduated from Harvard, and Harvard Law School. Sen. Cotton left his law practice after the September 11th attacks. He served nearly five years on active duty in the United States Army as an Infantry Officer. Sen. Cotton served in Iraq with the 101st Airborne and in Afghanistan with a Provincial Reconstruction Team. Between his two combat tours, Sen. Cotton served with The Old Guard at Arlington National Cemetery. During his time in the Senate he has championed the U.S.Israel relationship, actively seeking ways to strengthen strategic ties and working to counter common enemies such as the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Congressman Dan Crenshaw Texas's 2nd Congressional District
Congressman Dan Crenshaw (R-TX-2) - is a freshman Member of Congress representing Texas's 2nd Congressional district. He served our country as a U.S. Navy SEAL, deploying five times overseas, where he medically retired in September of 2016 as a Lieutenant Commander after serving ten years in the SEAL Teams. Upon leaving the service, he was awarded two Bronze Stars (one with Valor), the Purple Heart, and the Navy Commendation Medal with Valor, among other citations. He currently serves on the Homeland Security and Budget Committees. A strong supporter of Israel, the Congressman frequently calls out anti-Semitism. Lt. Col. (IDF) Jonathan Conricus International Spokesperson for the Israeli Defense Forces
Lt. Col. (IDF) Jonathan Conricus is the international spokesperson for the Israeli Defense Forces. Known for his articulate style and diplomatic demeanor, Conricus is one of Israel’s finest warriors on one of the country’s most pivotal battlegrounds: the international media. During his first post with the IDF, Conricus served in the army’s elite Givate infantry brigade. A great defender of Israel and a true friend to CUFI, he has appeared numerous times in CUFI-produced content, including on CUFI’s weekly newsmagazine show, The Watchman.
Ambassador Danny Danon Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations
Ambassador Danny Danon is Israel’s 17th Permanent Representative to the United Nations. With over twenty years of experience representing Israel overseas and within the public sector, Ambassador Danon has developed a reputation as one of Israel’s most ardent defenders. Prior to assuming his role as UN ambassador, Danon served in the 18th, 19th, and 20th Knessets. From 2013-2014, Danon served as Deputy Minister of Defense, where he headed the Social Welfare and the Reserves departments. In 2015, Danon was appointed Israel’s Minister of Science and Technology. Prior to serving in the Knesset, Danon was a member of the Board of Directors of the Jewish Agency for Israel and a member of the Executive Board of the World Zionist Organization, where he led efforts to combat Antisemitism. Danon also previously served as a representative of the Jewish Agency in Miami, where he promoted Israel advocacy to the community and on campuses. Michael Oren Israeli historian and politician Former Israel’s Ambassador to the United States
Michael Oren is an Israeli historian and politician and previously served as Israel’s Ambassador to the United States from 2009 through 2013. He is the author of New York Times bestsellers Power, Faith, and Fantasy: America in the Middle East: 1776 to the Present and Six Days of War: June 1967 and the Making of the Modern Middle East, which are both critically acclaimed staples of any who wish to study and understand the Middle East. Prior to entering public life, Oren first served as a paratrooper in the IDF, and later as an underground agent working with Zionist groups in the Soviet Union.
Natan Sharanksy Chairman of the Institute for the Study of Global Anti-Semitism and Policy
Natan Sharanksy is the Chairman of the Institute for the Study of Global Anti-Semitism and Policy, and the former Chairman of the Executive of the Jewish Agency for Israel. Sharanksy has devoted his life to serving his people and the state of Israel. A mathematician by trade, Sharanksy grew up in the Soviet Union and became a dissident. He eventually was arrested and was imprisoned for nine years by the Soviets. Upon his release, Sharansky immigrated to Israel. A hero to the Jewish people, Sharanksy soon entered the Israeli parliament, holding several ministerial posts throughout his political career, including Deputy Prime Minister. Malcolm Hoenlein is the Executive Vice Chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations - the coordinating body for 50 national Jewish organizations. Elan Carr State Department’s Special Envoy for Monitoring and Combating Anti-Semitism
Elan Carr serves as the State Department’s Special Envoy for Monitoring and Combating Anti-Semitism. In his capacity, Carr is responsible for directing U.S. policies and projects aimed at countering anti-Semitism throughout the world. An officer in the US Army Reserve, he deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he led an anti-terrorism team in life-saving missions throughout the country and prosecuted terrorists who attacked U.S. troops. He also assisted efforts to establish an independent Iraqi judiciary and trained Iraqi judges and lawyers on constitutional law and criminal defense. As the son of Iraqi Jewish refugees who fled persecution in Iraq, Special Envoy Carr speaks Hebrew and the Iraqi dialect of Arabic. Irving Roth, a Holocaust survivor, is the Director of the Holocaust Resource Center at Temple Judea of Manhasset, New York. He is also the former education director of the Holocaust Memorial and Education Center of Nassau County. An internationally known educator, Mr. Roth has endeavored to teach people about the Holocaust and the lessons that can be learned from that experience. Through his participation in programs such as Adopt A Survivor, in which young people ‘adopt’ a Holocaust survivor and learn of his or her experiences, and the March of the Living, an annual education program which brings students from around the world to Poland where they explore the remnants of the Holocaust, Mr. Roth has worked to ensure that an atrocity like the Holocaust never happens again. Many people throughout his community owe their knowledge of the Holocaust to Mr. Roth. Mr. Roth has been the recipient of numerous awards and accolades for his work promoting a more accepting and diverse world. It is his life’s mission to make the world a better place that has earned Mr. Roth the Spirit of Anne Frank Award.
Rabbi Aryeh Scheinberg has been the spiritual leader of San Antonio’s Congregation Rodfei Sholom for nearly 50 years and has stood beside Pastor Hagee in an effort to build between the Christian and Jewish communities since the first Night to Honor Israel more than 30 years ago. Rabbi Scheinberg is the Chair of the Rabbinical Advisory Board and also acts as advisor to Pastor Hagee and Hagee Ministry’s annual charitable donations. He was the recipient of the 2003 National Conference of Christians & Jews (NCCJ) “Brotherhood-Sisterhood Humanitarian Award” and also the 2003 United Jewish Communities “Rabbinical Award.” He has been honored as “Man of The Year” by the State of Israel Bonds. Diana Hagee is the wife of Pastor John Hagee, founder and senior pastor of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas. Diana serves as Co-Executive Director of Christians United for Israel, which Pastor Hagee founded in 2006.
She coordinates special events for Hagee Ministries and Cornerstone Church, and assists in leading the Women's Ministries at Cornerstone Church.
Diana is the author of the best-selling book The King's Daughter, which was awarded the Retailers Choice Award, The King’s Daughter Workbook, Ruth, the Romance of Redemption A Love Story, Hannah’s Song: What Love Looks Like and Not by Bread Alone, a cookbook encouraging creative ministry through food as well as a book she co-authored with her husband entitled, What Every Man Wants in a Woman—What Every Woman Wants in a Man”.

A native of San Antonio, Texas Sandra Parker has been practicing law for over a decade and specializes in non-profit law. Before her career as In-House Counsel, Sandra practiced corporate and non-profit law for Rosenthal Pauerstein Sandoloski and Agather LLP where she was chosen a “Top Lawyer” by her peers and featured in S.A. Scene in 2013. Mrs. Parker currently serves as Chairman of the Board of CUFI Action Fund, the political arm of the over 5 million member Christians United for Israel.
Shari Dollinger Co-Executive Director of CUFI
Shari Dollinger is the Co-Executive Director of Christians United for Israel (CUFI), is the largest pro-Israel organization in the United States, with over 6 million members. Prior to this position, Shari was CUFI’s Associate Director for 11 years. Before CUFI, Shari served as the Assistant Director of The Donor Forum, as the Officer for Inter-Religious Affairs at the Embassy of Israel in Washington, DC, and a Foreign Policy Research Associate at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). Aryeh Lightstone, formerly Regional Director of New York NCSY, was appointed in April 2017 to serve as advisor to U.S. ambassador to Israel David Friedman. A graduate of Yeshiva University who received his rabbinic ordination from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary, Rabbi Lightstone has been fully engaged in all forms of communal work. Rabbi Lightstone founded Aleph Beta Academy, the JUMP Leadership initiative, Jerusalem Ambassadors, and Friday Night Lights which are all ongoing international and successful programs. In addition to running NCSY in the New York area, Rabbi Lightstone developed the first mainstream Jewish college credit program for unaffiliated high school students from across North America.

Dr. Jonathan Schanzer is Senior Vice President for Research at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, a leading foreign policy think-tank. He is also on the leadership team of FDD’s Center on Economic and Financial Power. A sought-after public speaker, Schanzer has traveled widely throughout the Middle East and studied Middle East history in four countries. He earned his PhD from King’s College London, where he wrote his dissertation on the U.S. Congress and its efforts to combat terrorism in the 20th century. He speaks Arabic and Hebrew.

Richard Goldberg Senior Advisor at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD)
Richard Goldberg is a senior advisor at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD). From 2004 to 2014, he worked on Capitol Hill, serving as deputy chief of staff and senior foreign policy adviser to former U.S. Senator Mark Kirk of Illinois. From 2015 to 2017, he served as deputy chief of staff for legislative affairs and later chief of staff for Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner.
As a staff associate for the House Appropriations Subcommittee on State-Foreign Operations, Goldberg was a leader in efforts to expand U.S. missile defense cooperation with Israel and played a key role in U.S. funding for the Arrow-3 program, Iron Dome, and the deployment of an advanced missile defense radar to the Negev Desert.
In the Senate, Goldberg was the lead Republican negotiator for three rounds of sanctions targeting the Central Bank of Iran, the SWIFT financial messaging service, and entire sectors of the Iranian economy. Goldberg also drafted and negotiated legislation promoting human rights and democracy in Iran, including sanctions targeting entities that provide the Iranian regime with the tools of repression.
As the governor’s chief of staff, Goldberg spearheaded the first-ever state legislation to divest public pension funds from companies engaged in boycotts of Israel, which sparked a nationwide initiative in state capitols around America.

Kasim Hafeez is a British citizen of Pakistani Muslim heritage who grew up being exposed to radical Anti-Western, Anti-Semitic and Anti-Israel ideas on a daily basis. During his teenage years Kasim embraced a radical Islamist ideology and became very active in the anti-Israel movement. Thankfully Alan Dershowitz’s book ‘The Case for Israel’ challenged Kasim’s fundamental beliefs and caused him to undertake a period of research and reflection that led him to Israel in 2007. Witnessing the true nature of the Jewish state changed Kasim’s perception of Israel. He felt a moral obligation to publically speak out for Israel and the dangers of radical Islam. He has spoken all over the world including the 2013 Global Forum on Combatting Anti-Semitism. Kasim has appeared on radio and television and print media.

Cheryl Morrison CUFI Region 3 Director - Founder of Truth and Life Ministries
Cheryl Morrison has a passion to teach biblical truth and to educate Christians to love and stand with the nation of Israel and the Jewish people. She led the Israel Outreach and Women’s Ministry at Faith Bible Chapel for over 30 years and has led more than 50 tours to Israel.
